After draining a pair of clutch 3-pointers, and dishing out three assists during Indiana’s 74-68 loss to Northwestern on Wednesday, Hoosiers true freshman Trey Galloway will be in the starting lineup for the Hoosiers to take on No. 18 Illinois in Champaign on Saturday.

Galloway will be a major factor in adding depth to the IU guard spot against the Illini, and despite being just a three-star recruit – the lowest on the Hoosiers’ incoming class – he has made huge strides in production and was key to the Hoosiers staying in the game with the Wildcats.
Indiana head coach Archie Miller takes the blame for the Hoosiers’ difficulties, thus far.
“I’m going to take full blame for our lack of improvement in the last few weeks in taking care of the ball,” Miller said. “It is getting to a level where you are not going to win in this league if you don’t take care of the ball.”
With the high-powered Illinois offense on the other side of the scorers table, a shuffling of the lineup may be just what is needed.
