The season opening game between Indiana and Wisconsin at Camp Randall Stadium has already seen a schedule change.
On Thursday, both Indiana and Wisconsin announced that the season-opening B1G matchup has been moved from Saturday, Sept. 5 to Friday, Sept. 4. A kickoff time and broadcast network are yet to be determined for the game.
The 2020 season opener will mark the second time in four years Indiana has started the season with a B1G opponent. In 2017, the Hoosiers opened the year with Ohio State in Bloomington.
Indiana and Wisconsin last met in 2017 in Bloomington, a game the Badgers won 45-17. Wisconsin has won 10 straight against the Hoosiers, with IU’s last victory coming in 2002.
Wisconsin leads the all-time series 41-18-2.
The Badgers finished the 2019 season with a 10-4 record, winning the B1G West and playing in the Rose Bowl. Indiana ended the year with an 8-5 mark and made a Gator Bowl appearance.
Both teams lost their respective bowl games by one point.
