Insane! Villanova QB pulls off the craziest, no-look TD pass of the year
Villanova is responsible for the most ridiculous, insane and improbable touchdown pass of the college football season. Maybe of the last decade, honestly.
In Saturday’s game, Villanova trailed Delaware by 14 points with just over 3 minutes to play. On a 3rd-and-goal from the 1-yard line, Wildcats quarterback Daniel Smith appeared to be sacked by a Delaware defender, but tossed the football high into the air as he was falling to the ground.
Charlie Gilroy hauled in the heave to pull Villanova within a single score at 27-20. Below is the clip of the crazy play from Saturday afternoon:

It’s impossible to describe that play. You had to see it to believe it.
Villanova was able to force a punt on Delaware’s next possession, but Smith threw an interception and the Wildcats lost the game 27-20.
