Interception, on a kickoff? Army gifts Tulane a TD in most improbable fashion

Army picked the most improbable way to give a touchdown to Tulane.
The idea for this kickoff return was simple enough. The Black Knights were going to try the throwback return, where the player who receives the kickoff pivots and throws a backward pass to a different returner.
Unfortunately, the idea did not catch Tulane off guard. One of the cover men was racing right down the field and directly for the player who was intended to catch the throw.
The end result was a disastrous throw by Army’s initial returner, directly into the arms of a speeding Tulane cover man. He never broke stride as he ran eight yards for the touchdown.
It was definitely a great job by the Tulane defender, but this is a gift of a touchdown from Army:
