Iowa DB rakes in national honor after big performance vs. Indiana
The No.18 Iowa Hawkeyes had an impressive opening weekend as they cruised to a victory over the No.17 Indiana Hoosiers 34-6 in week 1.
The Hawkeyes got some help from the star-studded senior Safety Riley Moss, who had not 1 but two pick-sixes in the game to help the Hawkeyes to a blowout victory.

The two pick-sixes helped Moss earn the Walter Camp Defensive Player of the Week awarded to the best defensive player in the country each week.
In three seasons and 1 game with the Hawkeyes, Moss has a gaudy stat line, 73 tackles, 1 tackle for loss, 6 interceptions that netted 239 total yards on 39.8 yards per return, 3 touchdowns and 12 pass deflections.
The two pick-sixes for Moss yesterday netted a total of 85 yards for an average of 42.5 yards per return.
The Hawkeyes still play 3 AP TOP-25 opponents this season, two of which are on the road at No.7 Iowa State and at No.12 Wisconsin.
The Hawkeyes have a tough test next week as they travel on the road to face in-state rival the No.7 ranked Iowa State Cyclones in Ames, IA. College Gameday will be there for all the pregame festivities.
