Iowa, Ohio State women earn share of regular-season B1G hoops title
The regular season of B1G women’s basketball came to an exciting conclusion Sunday afternoon with a couple of key finishes.
With the B1G title on the line in Iowa City, the Hawkeyes steamrolled past No. 6 Michigan with another brilliant performance from Caitlin Clark. The No. 21 Hawkeyes upset the Wolverines 104-80 as Clark posted a double-double with 38 points, 11 assists and 6 rebounds.
Clark’s epic performance included an 8-for-11 afternoon from 3-point range.

The win pushed Iowa to 14-4 in conference play while Michigan fell half a game behind at 13-4. It guaranteed a share of the B1G title for the Hawkeyes.

Ohio State would join Iowa atop the conference standings with a win over Michigan State. It was a gritty performance from the Buckeyes as Taylor Mikesell led Ohio State with 17 points and Jacy Sheldon added a double-double with 13 points and 10 assists.
