Iowa vs. Penn State punctuates the Week 4 landscape with a top-25 matchup and B1G crossover game. It’s also the annual White Out in Happy Valley with the two sides playing before an electric environment in Beaver Stadium.

Heading into that game, Penn State is a double-digit favorite for a number of reasons. A big one is the electric start for the offense under new starter Drew Allar.

On the other side of the matchup, Iowa arrives with a banged-up offense. The Hawkeyes will be without star tight end Luke Lachey for a while and are also down a pair of running backs against Penn State.

Heading into that game, ESPN’s SP+ model designed by Bill Connelly does expect Penn State to win by double digits but not quite cover. The system predicts a 26-14 win for the Nittany Lions in a game they are currently listed as -15 favorites for. Fans looking to take part in those odds can head to BetMGM to get started!

Penn State holds the all-time edge 17-14 in the series but Iowa has won the last two. That includes a 23-20 win in Iowa City during the 2021 season the last time these two faced off.

Saturday’s kickoff is also set for primetime, so this year’s White Out should be a fun one.
