Iowa’s Joe Wieskamp and Michigan’s Hunter Dickinson have been awarded B1G Player of the Week honors for their efforts last week. The conference announced the honors on Monday afternoon.
Wieskamp was critical in Iowa’s victories over Rutgers and Michigan State last week, averaged 23.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the two games. He scored a season-high 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the Hawkeyes’ 79-66 victory over Rutgers.
Saturday, Wieskamp had 21 points and collected 7 boards and dished out 3 assists in an 88-58 win over Michigan State at Breslin Center. Wieskamp was named the B1G Player of the Week.

Dickinson had a double-double in Michigan’s lone game from last week, coming off a three-week pause due to COVID-19 concerns.
Dickinson had 15 rebounds and scored 11 points as the Wolverines got a 67-59 victory over Wisconsin on the road. He was named the B1G Freshman of the Week.
