Jacob Henry is an intriguing defensive line prospect in the class of 2024. The son of former powerlifter and WWE star Mark Henry, it appears elite strength runs in the family.
Recently, the younger Henry posted a video on social media of his preseason workouts for the 2022 football season. That included a 600-lb squat, an impressive performance for any veteran player made even more impressive by Henry’s age.

Currently listed at 6-feet and 275 lbs., Henry has not yet been rated by 247 Sports or the composite rankings. He currently plays for Lake Travis High School in Austin, Texas and had 28 tackles, 2.5 TFL and 1.5 sacks during the 2021 season.
Jacob’s father – Mark Henry – was a two-time Olympian (1992 and 1996) as a weightlifter and was a long-time wrestler for WWE. Jacob still has a way to get to his father’s personal-best squat. Mark Henry previously squatted over 950 lbs.
It will be interesting to see what programs begin to show interest in Jacob as his high school career develops.
