Jayshawn Ross is a 4-star prospect and key player out of Missouri for the 2024 recruiting class. On Saturday, Ross made some cuts to his list of potential destinations with a top 5 announcement.
Prior to his announcement, Ross generated almost 2 dozen Power 5 offers in his recruitment. He kept Penn State, Michigan and Nebraska out of the B1G in his final group to go with Tennessee and Oklahoma.

Ross is listed at 6-foot-4 and 220 pounds out of Liberty North High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He’s made plays as a receiver and a defensive end in high school but he is rated as an Edge prospect for the next level.
According to the 247 Sports Composite, Ross is a 4-star recruit and the 8th overall player out of Missouri for the class of 2024. He’s also rated as the 24th Edge in the country and the No. 314 overall player for the cycle.
