Joe Lunardi’s latest bracketology entering Selection Sunday

Nine.

That is the number of B1G teams Joe Lunardi has playing in this year’s NCAA Tournament. The ESPN college basketball expert released his latest bracketology early Sunday morning entering Selection Sunday. Soon enough, we’ll find out if he’s right.

Lunardi believes two B1G teams have secured No. 1 seeds in this year’s field — Illinois and Michigan. He also believes Ohio State and Iowa have locked up No. 2 seeds in the tournament and Purdue is comfortably sitting as a No. 4 seed.

Two of the teams on the bubble entering Selection Sunday are Maryland and Michigan State, but Lunardi currently has both in the field under the Last Four Byes category. The Terrapins defeated the Spartans in Round 2 of the B1G Tournament.

Wisconsin and Rutgers are the other two teams that Lunardi has making this year’s March Madness tournament.
