Joel Klatt is as connected a college football analyst as there is in the sport, while also being on FOX’s top broadcasting team with Gus Johnson and Jenny Taft.

Like fans all across the country, Klatt has had this weekend circled on the calendar. There are big-time matchups all across the country, with arguably the biggest game being the Big Ten clash between No. 3 Oregon and No. 2 Ohio State.

Klatt is on the BYU and Arizona game, so he is able to make a prediction in the Buckeyes-Ducks game. He likes Ohio State to not only win, but to cover the 3-point spread (ESPN Bet).

“The Ducks have won 34 of their last 35 games in Autzen Stadium, so Oregon knows how to win at home,” Klatt said on his podcast this week. “I think with Ohio State’s ability to throw the football and run the football — the Buckeyes average 220 yards on the ground. We saw what Ashton Jeanty did at Oregon (192 yards). It is, I’d say, even likely that Ohio State does well on the ground. If they do that, they win the game. I think Ohio State goes on the road and gets the win. I like Ohio State by a score of 28-22.”

The Ducks and Buckeyes will kick off from Autzen Stadium at 7:30 p.m. ET and the game will be on NBC.
