Joel Klatt is backing Ohio State to get the job done in Week 6 against Iowa.

Klatt shared some of his thoughts on the game on his show on Friday. He said he believes Ohio State will be able to take care of business against an Iowa offense that hasn’t featured much in the passing game so far this season.

“My question is, Iowa is so one-dimensional, will they be able to move the ball on this Ohio State defense?” Klatt said. “When you give a defense like this a team that is one dimension, it’s like, OK, they can load up on Kaleb Johnson … Ohio State should be able to at least slow down or stop Kaleb Johnson. There’s just not enough of a threat on offense for Iowa outside of that.”

Johnson has been one of the very best running backs in the country this season, even with opposing defenses keying in on the run. Entering Week 6, Johnson is the Big Ten leader in rushing with 685 yards and 9 touchdowns.

However, to Klatt’s point, the Iowa passing game has left a lot to be desired so far this season. Cade McNamara has averaged just 5.8 yards per attempt this season, which ranks 17th out of 18 qualified quarterbacks in the Big Ten.

Klatt is predicting a 42-10 win for Ohio State over the Hawkeyes.
