The final weekend of the college football regular season is officially in the books. After Championship Saturday, FOX analyst Joel Klatt has released his final Top 10 rankings.
Klatt has been updating his Top 10 each and every week following the slate of games. Now, the college football analyst gets his final chance to weigh in on what the College Football Playoff and New Year’s Six bowl pictures look like with the regular season over.
Alabama occupies the No. 1 spot after defeating Florida 52-46 in the SEC Championship Game and Clemson is bumped up into the No. 2 position following a 34-10 victory over Notre Dame in the ACC title game. Ohio State rounds gets a nudge into the No. 3 spot after a 22-10 win over Northwestern in the B1G Championship, and despite the loss, the Fighting Irish sit at No. 4.
Here’s Klatt’s complete Top 10:
- Alabama
- Clemson
- Ohio State
- Notre Dame
- Texas A&M
- Cincinnati
- Oklahoma
- Georgia
- Indiana
- Coastal Carolina
Indiana, at 6-1, was the only other team from the B1G to crack Klatt’s Top 10.
Will the College Football Playoff selection committee agree with Klatt’s rankings? Or will there be some differences in the official version of the Top 10? We’ll find out around 12 p.m. ET today.
