Jon Gruden is stepping down as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. That’s per reports from ESPN’s Adam Schefter and NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.
According to those reports, Gruden met with Raiders owner Mark Davis and informed Davis of his plans to resign.
Raiders owner Mark Davis arrived at the team’s facility a couple of hours ago and went to find Jon Gruden, per source. The two men met. And Gruden no longer will be the Raiders’ head coach.
