Jonah Coleman clears Northwestern defender with perfectly executed hurdle
Jonah Coleman has been a major piece for Jedd Fisch during his first season at Washington. The star running back is still providing a spark in Week 4, and he delivered one of the highlights of the night against Northwestern.
Coming off a terrible loss in the Apple Cup, Washington returned home to open its first-ever Big Ten slate with a game against the Wildcats. The Huskies have been in control throughout, and Coleman’s production has been a key piece to the game.
In fact, Coleman made the Northwestern defense look silly on one play at the end of the 3rd quarter. After catching a short pass, Coleman turned up field and was picking up yards when one defender tried to go low for a tackle.
The only problem? Coleman went up — and over — to cleanly get over the defender with a perfect hurdle.

Coleman does have 3 catches for 36 yards in the game, and he is also the team’s leading rusher with 67 yards and a 4th-quarter touchdown on 14 carries. Washington is in total control late in the game, so it should be a great bounce-back win for the program.
