Jonathan Powell is one of the top 100 prospects in the country for the 2024 recruiting class. On Tuesday, the Centerville High School star out of Ohio announced his top 6 programs for his recruitment moving forward.

A key B1G target, Powell kept Ohio State, Indiana and Michigan State in the mix for his eventual commitment. Clemson, Virginia Tech and Xavier rounded out Powell’s list.

A shooting guard listed at 6-foot-6 and 170 pounds, Powell is rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 18 SG in the nation by the 247 Sports Composite. He’s also rated as the 98th overall player in the country and the No. 2 prospect out of Ohio for the class of 2024.

It will be interesting to see how his recruitment shapes up moving forward, but Powell could be a difference-maker for any program in the B1G.
