Jonathan Taylor, Justin Fields among players in Top 5 for Heisman Trophy odds
The weekly Heisman Trophy odds have been updated, and two of the top offensive players in the B1G have found themselves in the top five.
Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor and Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields are both in the top five this week, joining Alabama’s Tua Tagovailoa, LSU’s Joe Burrow and Oklahoma’s Jalen Hurts. Both Taylor and Fields are listed with 10/1 odds to claim college football’s highest individual honor.

Taylor has rushed for 825 yards through six games, scoring 14 touchdowns on the ground, the highest total in college football currently. He’s also become a quality pass-catcher, totaling 15 receptions for 136 yards and four touchdowns.
Fields has thrown for 1,298 yards and 18 touchdowns with just one interception, completing passes at a 69 percent clip. He’s also rushed for 283 yards and eight touchdowns.
This week, Wisconsin travels to Illinois and Ohio State travels to Northwestern. The Badgers and Buckeyes will square off on Oct. 26 in Columbus.
