Jordan James and Tez Johnson are both battling injuries as Oregon tries to fight back against Ohio State.

James and Johnson were both evaluated for injuries during the 2nd quarter.

According to ESPN’s Holly Rowe, James was taken back into the locker room after sustaining a hard hit in the 2nd quarter. Johnson, meanwhile, was evaluated on the sideline for a possible neck injury according to Rowe.

At this time, it’s unclear if either playmaker will be able to return to the game. If they’re out, it’s a potentially-fatal blow for Oregon’s offense in this game.

James is Oregon’s leading rusher and one of the best running backs in the Big Ten. He entered this game with over 1,200 rushing yards and 15 rushing touchdowns on the season.

Johnson was Oregon’s leading receiver during the regular season. He caught 78 passes for 866 yards and helped lead Oregon to a 13-0 start and a Big Ten Championship this year.

Ohio State built a 24-0 lead before the Oregon duo became sidelined. The Ducks are college football’s lone remaining undefeated team, but they appear to be in serious jeopardy of losing before the semifinals on Wednesday afternoon at the Rose Bowl.
