Josh Cohen, a transfer out of St. Francis PA, announced Wednesday that he has set a commitment date of Thursday, April 5. He also announced through On3’s Joe Tipton that he is considering a pair of B1G schools: Penn State and Iowa. Also under consideration are UMass and Santa Clara.

Cohen comes from a small conference, but his production is hard to ignore. The 6-10 center averaged an incredible 21.8 points and 8.53 rebounds per game. He also averaged just below a block per game.

Cohen, a junior, has just 1 season of college eligibility remaining.

So where does Cohen fit best? Iowa seems to be a name to watch out for.

Cohen could be a solid replacement for Filip Rebraca and Kris Murray, who are both set to depart the team this offseason. Murray could return if he wanted, but he seems more likely to enter the NBA Draft.
