Recruiting never ends.

Josh Cohen, a talented center out of St. Francis PA, is one of the more interesting early entries into the transfer portal following the end of the CBB regular season. Cohen, who averaged over 21 points and 8 rebounds for the Red Flash last season, is set to visit with Penn State on Monday. He’s heard from several Power 6 programs, including Iowa, Notre Dame, Arkansas and South Carolina to name a few.

Cohen played well against strong competition this past season. He had 18 points and 10 rebounds against Ohio State and dropped 30 points and 9 rebounds against Miami, which is set to battle Indiana Sunday for a spot in the Sweet 16. In other words, he’s a legit Power 6 prospect.

And Penn State could use his services. Cohen, who is a New Jersey native, could give the Nittany Lions options of playing big or small, perhaps boosting rebounding numbers, especially on the offensive boards.
