With the college football season almost over, more and more NFL mock drafts are starting to be released. This includes the latest one from CBS Sports which has quite a few players from the Big Ten in the first round.

In this mock draft (courtesy of Ryan Wilson), Ohio State quarterback Justin Fields slipped out of the top five and goes to the Denver Broncos at No. 10.

The reasoning for the slip is likely due to a couple of poor performances from Fields against Northwestern and Indiana. If he plays well in the College Football Playoff though, his stock could rise again.

Fields isn’t the first Big Ten player being picked in this mock though as Wilson has Penn State linebacker Micah Parsons going No. 3 to the Miami Dolphins.

He also has Northwestern offensive lineman Rashawn Slater going to the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 5 and then Michigan defensive lineman Kwity Paye going to the New York Giants.

Here’s a full list of the players from the Big Ten in the first round of this mock draft:

  • No. 3 – Miami Dolphins, LB Micah Parsons, Penn State
  • No. 5 – Cincinnati Bengals, OL Rashawn Slater, Northwestern
  • No. 8 – New York Giants, DL Kwity Paye, Michigan
  • No. 10 – Denver Broncos, QB Justin Fields, Ohio State
  • No. 16 – Las Vegas Raiders, EDGE Jayson Oweh, Penn State
  • No. 20 – Chicago Bears, OL Jalen Mayfield, Michigan
