Casey earned $800 cash and $1,000 in Applebee’s gift cards for doing the commercial, according to Kansas City.com. The 6-foot, 254-pound player also has another endorsement opportunity lined up with the local Lewis Automotive Group. ESPN’s College GameDay is doing a feature on Casey this Saturday.
Kansas’ victory vs. Texas snapped an eight-game losing streak. The Jayhawks are 2-8 overall and tenth place in the Big 12. Next up for Kansas is a road matchup at TCU on Nov. 20 (4 p.m. EST/Big 12 Network)
