One of the top matchups of the week was No. 10 Oregon traveling to Pasadena, California to take on UCLA. After a 14-0 start, Oregon pressed towards through a solid display of performances on both sides of the ball. The Ducks survived a potential comeback from UCLA as they finished with a 34-31 win.
One player that had a big game for Oregon was defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux, who accounted for 9 total tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, 2 sacks, 1 quarterback hurry, and 1 forced fumble. Thibodeaux was even so excited for his team’s big victory that he accidentally dropped the “f-bomb” on live TV.
