Pickett replaced Steelers’ starter Mitch Trubisky in the third quarter, but couldn’t catch a break on his first throw.

Pickett later had a completion however, and 2 passing yards on 1/2 throwing along with a rushing touchdown. Despite Pickett’s pick, the Steelers lead the Jets 13-10 in the third quarter.

Pickett didn’t have to travel far when his name was called in the draft. He had an illustrious career in his time at Pitt, recording 12,303 career yards and 81 touchdowns.

He was drafted with the 20th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
