Blue Nation used to fill Commonwealth Stadium back in the day, and now new head coach Mark Stoops has gotten the Kentucky faithful to fully buy into the program and that same Stadium, now named Kroger Field, was rocking Saturday night with the Gators in town.
After the victory, Kentucky fans stormed the field in celebration. While it’s widely known that SEC protocol dictates a fine for such an act, nobody really cared. In fact, it’s certain that the UK administration will gladly pay the fine, which was announced on Monday to be $250,000.
