A start time for next week’s B1G East clash between Penn State and Michigan State has officially been announced.

The matchup between Penn State and Michigan State was expected to carry a little more weight, but after both teams dropped their first conference game of the year, the importance of the contest has dwindled just slightly.
Penn State was defeated by Ohio State 39-38 while Northwestern knocked off Michigan State in triple overtime 39-31. The Lions are now 7-1 (4-1 B1G) and the Spartans are 6-2 (4-1).
Saturday’s matchup hasn’t lost all significance, as Michigan State still technically controls its own destiny with Penn State and Ohio State still on the schedule. If the Spartans were to win out, they would be headed to the B1G Championship Game at the end of the season.
Penn State, on the other hand, would need to win out and have Ohio State lose twice.
