The matchups are set, the bowl games are set and now, the kickoff times and broadcast information is set.

Shortly after the Top 6 teams in the College Football Playoff rankings were announced on Sunday, the bowl game designations and kickoff times were announced. Clear the calendar of the New Year’s Eve plans.

No. 1 Alabama will play No. 4 Cincinnati in the Cotton Bowl. No. 2 Michigan will take on No. 3 Georgia in the Orange Bowl. Both games will be played on Dec. 31.

  • No. 1 Alabama vs. No. 4 Cincinnati: Cotton Bowl (3:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)
  • No. 2 Michigan vs. No. 3 Georgia: Orange Bowl (7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)

This will mark the first time that Michigan and Cincinnati have played in the College Football Playoff. Georgia is making its second appearance and Alabama will be making its seventh.

It should be a fun way to close out 2021.
