Georgia and TCU face off in the National Championship game Monday night. Sunday afternoon, head coaches Kirby Smart and Sonny Dykes updated the injury status of 2 key players to their respective teams, Darnell Washington and Kendre Miller.
Miller is probably the more important of the 2. The star TCU running back was labeled as questionable to play in the game last week with a knee injury.
Optimism has since risen on Miller’s ability to play, but TCU is being careful ahead of the game.
Sonny Dykes says they’ll get a better sense of RB Kendre Miller’s status at walkthrough today, but sounds like they’re being very cautious b/c it’s his knee injury.

Washington, however, exited Georgia’s game against Ohio State last week around the same time Georgia also lost its star tight end, Cade Stover.
According to Smart, Washington is likely to play against the Horned Frogs.
Kirby Smart says they’re hopeful TE Darnell Washington can play tomorrow night.
