Bret Bielema first game vs. Wisconsin has gone somewhat under the radar this week as most of the Big Ten has its eyes on Penn State-Iowa, Michigan-Nebraska or Maryland-Ohio State.

But not for Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard.

Herbstreit and Howard are both picking Illinois to upset Wisconsin in Champaign on Saturday. The Illini are 11-point underdogs, but the Badgers have struggled to move the ball lately.

David Pollack picked the Badgers, but acknowledged that it would be a close game.

“This is going to be a rock fight,” Pollack said. “11 might be the total.”

Illinois has one win over Wisconsin in the last decade, and it came in Champaign in 2019. The Badgers hold the all-time series record advantage 43-38-7.
