At long last, there’s a full slate of college football this weekend.

Don’t worry. We’re excited, too — but probably not as excited as ESPN analyst Kirk Herbstreit.

Week 1 officially kicks off Thursday night, with the marquee matchup of No. 4 Ohio State at Minnesota taking center stage at 8 p.m. ET. However, one game looks like it’s off the schedule. Rutgers vs. Temple is reportedly postponed to Saturday due to flooding from Hurricane Ida.

Friday’s games include Michigan State vs. Northwestern, but the biggest game of the weekend is Saturday night when No. 2 Clemson takes on No. 5 Georgia. Sunday night’s No. 9 Notre Dame vs. Florida State game serves as a nice dessert after the main course.

All 14 B1G teams will be in action over the course of the Labor Day weekend — weather permitting, of course — so fans will have plenty of football to satisfy their craving.

Welcome back, old friend.
