Kirk Herbstreit shared some love for the teams of the Old Oaken Bucket rivalry following Week 10.

As he traditionally does, Herbstreit put out a list of the top-performing teams from the weekend on Monday. Number one on Herbstreit’s list was Utah, but he had Indiana at No. 4 and Purdue at No. 5 on the list.

Despite already earning bowl eligibility, the Hoosiers throttled Northwestern at home to earn their seventh win of the season with a mark of 7-2. With three games left, Tom Allen and company have a shot to win eight games for the first time at Indiana since 1993.

For Purdue, the win by the Boilermakers against Nebraska was a bit different. Entering the game with a 2-6 record, Purdue and head coach Jeff Brohm were looking for a bright spot in an otherwise dismal season. Despite losing quarterback Jack Plummer to injury, the Boilermakers rallied behind Aidan O’Connell for a game-winning drive against the Cornhuskers.
