College football analyst Kirk Herbstreit names his top college football players across the country after every week, and he recently just released his best players of Week 8.

His Week 8 list included two B1G standouts. Those were Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. and Nebraska Cornhuskers defensive lineman Nash Hutmacher.

In the Buckeyes’ most recent victory, a 20-12 win over the Penn State Nittany Lions, Harrison was among the team’s most key playmakers on offense, finishing out the contest with 11 receptions for a whopping 162 yards with 1 touchdown.

Hutmacher was just as important of a piece in his team’s win as well, racking up 7 total tackles (2 solo) and 2.5 sacks in the 17-9 victory over the Northwestern Wildcats.

Also on Herbstreit’s list, the pair joined the company of Washington Huskies cornerback Mishael Powell, Utah Utes quarterback Bryson Barnes,  Oklahoma State Cowboys running back Ollie Gordon II and UNLV Rebels placekicker Jose Pizano.

Here’s a look at the complete list from Herbstreit:

With several intriguing games on deck in the conference on the schedule for Week 9, how many more Big Ten players join the list will be something to keep an eye on.
