College Gameday analyst Kirk Herbstreit released his weekly “top performers” list and he’s giving a lot of credit to three Big Ten teams.

Indiana gets the top spot after they walked off Penn State in overtime by going for two. Quarterback Michael Penix Jr. was able to just get the ball over the pylon on the conversion to win it.

Rutgers gets the No. 2 spot after they surprised virtually everyone and beat Michigan State 38-27. With that win, they ended a 21-game conference losing streak that dated back to 2017.

Michigan was able to get the No. 4 spot after they blew out the Minnesota Golden Gophers by a score of 49-24.

Their running game was the biggest reason as to why that game wasn’t close as the Wolverines had a combined five rushing touchdowns.

Outside the Big Ten, Oklahoma State, LSU and Wake Forest also made the cut after big wins last weekend.
