Kirk Herbstreit is back to his usual routine. The former Ohio State standout and College GameDay analyst listed his top individual performances from a strong Week 1 late Tuesday night.

Herbstreit liked what he saw from a pair of B1G standouts: Penn State’s Drew Allar and Minnesota’s Tyler Nubin.

Here’s the rest of his list, including Jordan Travis, Kaimon Rucker and Colorado’s trio of dynamic playmakers, among others.

Let’s start with Allar, who’s hype has been through the roof heading into the 2023 season. And he delivered Saturday night against West Virginia. The sophomore QB threw for 325 yards and 3 touchdowns in the Nittany Lions’ 38-15 win over the Mountaineers.

Nubin had a strong showing as well. The Minnesota DB picked off Nebraska QB Jeff Sims twice on Thursday, including the INT that led to Minnesota’s game-winning field goal.
