Kyle McCord, Drew Allar turn in lackluster first-half performance in top-10 matchup
Kyle McCord and Drew Allar are battling it out in Columbus Saturday with both leading a top-10 team into the game. The major showdown has been hard-fought throughout, but both players have left a bit to be desired.
To be fair, both Ohio State and Penn State maintain an elite defensive unit to start the season. With that being said, both quarterbacks have missed some throws and plays that need to be made in a game of this magnitude.

Kyle McCord is the worst QB Ryan Day has ever had at Ohio State. That doesn’t say much considering he’s coached CJ Stroud, Justin Fields, and Dwayne Haskins but Kyle McCord is an average at best QB.
Granted on the other side Drew Allar is also average.
