“I am thankful for all who have been a part of my journey to this point,” Viliamu-Asa wrote. “We have decided as a family to focus on these 3 schools moving forward.”

Listed at 6-foot-3 and 230 pounds out of St. John Bosco High School in California, Viliamu-Asa is rated as a 4-star recruit and the No. 8 LB in the country per the 247 Sports Composite. He’s also rated as the 103rd overall player in the country by the system for the 2024 recruiting class.

Hailed as a versatile LB, Ohio State DC Jim Knowles and former Buckeye LB James Laurinaitis are listed as Viliamu-Asa’s primary and secondary recruiters per 247 Sports.

We’ll see how the rest of Viliamu-Asa’s recruitment shapes up, but he looks like a true defensive game-changer for the cycle.
