If you’re planning on watching the 2020 NFL Draft in a few weeks, you’re likely to hear several B1G names early. That’s based on the latest mock draft from NFL.com draft analyst Daniel Jeremiah.

Earlier this week, Jeremiah released the 2.0 version of his 2020 NFL Mock Draft. Several former B1G players are tabbed as first-round selections, with the analyst naming seven players from the conference as first-round projections. But the real surprise is that Jeremiah now has three former B1G stars being selected within the first four picks come April 23.

Chase Young and Jeff Okudah from Ohio State and Tristan Wirfs from Iowa are projected to occupy the spots No. 2-No. 4 come the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. Not a bad showing for a league in one year.

Below is where Jeremiah has those B1G players projected in his latest mock draft:

  • No. 2: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State — Washington Redskins
  • No. 3: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State — Detroit Lions
  • No. 4: Tristan Wirfs, OT, Iowa — New York Giants
  • No. 18: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State — Miami Dolphins
  • No. 23: A.J. Epenesa, DE, Iowa — New England Patriots
  • No. 28: Zack Baun, LB, Wisconsin — Baltimore Ravens
  • No. 32: Cesar Ruiz, OC, Michigan — Kansas City Chiefs

Both Ohio State and Iowa are expected to have two players selected in the first round, with Michigan, Penn State and Wisconsin each projected to have one. We’ll see how close these projections come in just under two weeks.
