There is no doubt that the first College Football Playoff rankings caused controversy and fans were outraged. The Top 4 consists of Georgia, Alabama, Michigan State, and Oregon with Ohio State and Cincinnati as the two first out.

Not everyone agrees with that ranking, including ESPN College GameDay analyst Lee Corso. He’s got a much different Top 4 as we hit the first weekend in November.

Corso’s Top 4 looks like this:

  1. Georgia
  2. Alabama
  3. Ohio State
  4. Cincinnati

Corso has the undefeated Cincinnati team after a solid road win over No. 9 Notre Dame. Corso does surprisingly have Ohio State over the team they lost to in Oregon and the undefeated Michigan State.

“I have Cincinnati 4th,” Corso said. “And they beat Notre Dame at Notre Dame. Tell me who else did that? Nobody. … I would have Michigan State out. Michigan State is going to get beat this week. … My biggest surprise is that Ohio State should have been No. 3. Oregon is also out.”
