LOOK: New Orleans newspaper publishes incredible headline after NFC Championship controversy
An image of a New Orleans newspaper is going viral on Monday, the morning after the Saints were victims of one of the most ridiculous no-calls in NFL history.
Sunday evening, the Saints suffered a 26-23 loss to the Rams in the NFC Championship Game, coming one win shy of reaching the Super Bowl. While New Orleans had ample opportunity to win, a blatant pass interference call was missed late in the game that would’ve allowed the Saints to set up a game-winning field goal.

Pretty obvious, right?
On Monday, The Times-Picayune published the perfect headline to sum up Sunday’s missed call, as well as the general frustration around New Orleans. The headline read “Reffing Unbelievable.”

That’s an early candidate for the best headline of the year.
Hats off to The Times-Picayune for using the disastrous no-call to its advantage and working in one of the better headlines we’ve seen on the sports topic. Hopefully a few Saints fans got a laugh from it.
