Notre Dame is going to be the butt of a lot of jokes when it travels to Yankee Stadium later this year.
On November 17, the Irish will take on Syracuse in a Shamrock Series matchup. Since the game is being played in Yankee Stadium, the Golden Domers wanted to do something to represent baseball’s most successful franchise.
So, Notre Dame will sport an alternate uniform for the game. But the look really isn’t all that appealing.
TIL what happens when you combine Notre Dame 🏈 and the Yankees 👀

Yeah, that’s an interesting uniform choice to say the least.
But the pinstripe uniforms did get people talking on social media. Just not in the way Notre Dame probably wanted.
Upon further review, I believe this is a “What are those!!” moment. https://t.co/aYEOBB9JRq

Dear God.
Side note: I actually grew up a Yankees/Notre Dame football fan (Sorry, for being that guy!). My feelings about the later have pretty much completely eroded away over the years. Regardless, these are disgusting. https://t.co/TkJmVxKG49

That’s just a little taste of how Notre Dame’s alternate uniform was received.
Maybe the fans in New York will be a little more receptive.
