Ohio State and Wisconsin are tearing up the field at Lucas Oil Stadium. No, literally, they’re tearing up the field.

Early in the fourth quarter, the Badgers were on the goal line, trying to push the ball into the end zone and come within one possession of the Buckeyes. But the Ohio State defensive line pushed back as the two teams fought at the goal line.

Eventually, Ohio State and Wisconsin dug too deep and tore up a section of the turf at Lucas Oil Stadium. It’s not something many people have seen in football.

The field was ruled unsafe and maintenance workers had to come in and repair the field. The game was delayed about 15 minutes.

With this game coming down to the wire, both teams were digging in deep. Really deep.
