It’s too bad that P.J. Fleck took all the boats, oars and the “Row the Boat” mantra when he left Western Michigan for Minnesota. The Broncos could really use some of that gear right now.

Thursday morning, WOOD TV meteoroligist Ellen Bacca shared an image of Western Michigan’s Waldo Stadium after some heavy rainfall and flooding hit the Kalamazoo area. The field is entirely underwater.

Considering how high the water appears to have pooled around the goalposts, it doesn’t look like that’s just a light coating of rain, either. A raincoat and galoshes may not even be enough.

According to WKZO, Southwest Michigan has seen a ton of rainfall this year, some calling it the third-wettest year in history.

Maybe Fleck will lend some of the rowing equipment back to his old school. It looks like Western Michigan might need it for at least a few days.
