The stage is set for the B1G Championship Game between No. 2 Michigan and No. 13 Iowa with no weather altering the field. There will be College Football Playoff implications on the line as Michigan needs one more win to secure the first-ever appearance in the Playoff.

This is Michigan’s first-ever appearance in the B1G Championship Game in Lucas Oil Stadium while this is Iowa’s second-ever appearance. The last time Iowa appeared in the Championship Game was in 2015 where the Hawkeyes lost as the No. 4 team to No. 5 Michigan State 16-13 in a battle for a Playoff spot.

This is the first time since 2016 where Ohio State has not been a representative of the B1G East in the B1G Championship.

Michigan comes into this game as a 12.5-point favorite over Iowa. This game is expected to be a defensive fight as both teams have highly efficient and dominant defenses.
