Mac McClung hits game-winning jumper, hilariously declines postgame interview on ESPN
This isn’t something you see every day.
Texas Tech star Mac McClung hit a clutch shot to defeat No. 4 Texas on the road late Wednesday night, but then things got weird.
First, here’s the game-winning shot:

Then, when doing the customary postgame interview on ESPN, McClung cut things off early to go celebrate with his teammates.
“My teammates are telling me I gotta go,” McClung said. “I respect you a lot Fran, you’re the man. But I gotta go celebrate with my teammates.”
Fran Fraschilla handled this well, but it was still a hilarious moment:

Mac McClung is the best.

McClung, a transfer from Georgetown, is averaging 15.8 points per game in his first season with the Red Raiders. He had a game-high 22 points in the win over the Longhorns.
Texas Tech is now 12-3 and will host No. 2 Baylor on Saturday.
