Take a look at Louis Hedley and the last thought that would enter your mind is “yeah, he looks like a college punter.”
On Tuesday night, Miami received a commitment from the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Australian punter who’s covered in tattoos. He’s currently in the running for the most menacing punter in the history of college football.
OK, not really, but he seriously looks like your modern-day punter in college football.
Hedley signed his National Letter of Intent on Tuesday night, as he lives in Australia, it was already Feb. 6. He comes to The U from City College of San Francisco.

Hedley redshirted in the 2018 season but averaged over 38 yards per punt in 2017. He committed to Miami last year but didn’t ink his name during the Early Signing Period.
The Hurricanes didn’t have the best season punting the football in 2018, so Hedley is expected to be in the mix for the starting job immediately. He’ll have three years of eligibility remaining.
