When it comes to the best defensive players returning to college football in 2020, there are two B1G names that regularly surface. Penn State’s Micah Parsons and Ohio State’s Shaun Wade will be two of the top players next fall.

Turns out that several analysts with FOX’s college football crew believe those two are incredibly talented, as well.

Recently, the six FOX college football analysts named their top five defensive players coming back to the field in 2020. Parsons was mentioned by every analyst while Wade was included in the top five by three analysts.

Parsons had an outstanding sophomore campaign, totaling 109 tackles, 14 for loss, five pass break-ups and four forced fumbles. He’s considered the top linebacker in the sport by many.

Wade decided to return to Ohio State after thinking about a departure to the NFL. The defensive back recorded 25 stops, four for loss, eight pass break-ups, an interception and a forced fumble in 2019.
