Michigan’s 24-17 win over Michigan State on Saturday night didn’t come without some drama before the clock hit 0:00.

As Michigan was taking a final kneel-down to wind down the clock, a couple of players got into a brief scuffle that resulted in the teams needed to be separated.

The argument seemed to be between Michigan tight end Colston Loveland and Michigan State defensive lineman Jalen Thompson. Here’s a look:

After the game, Loveland was asked about the kerfuffle by FOX’s sideline reporter. He was blunt in his assessment of what happened.

“Little bro stay doing little bro things,” Loveland said. “MSU is the little bro. They can do whatever they want, we knew it was going to get chippy. But everything within the confines of the game, we do right. And then after, they want to get busy, we’ll get busy.”

This was Michigan’s third straight win over rival Michigan State. The Wolverines are now 74-38-5 all-time in this series.

Michigan will host No. 1 Oregon next weekend.
