Michigan opens as road favorite for Week 11 game vs. Penn State
Michigan and Penn State are gearing up for another version of a hotly-contested series in the B1G. Once again, some major stakes within the conference are up for grabs.
Though the Nittany Lions have one loss in league play, a win over Michigan would keep James Franklin’s team alive just behind Ohio State. On the other side of the matchup, Jim Harbaugh’s team can push closer to a winner-take-all matchup vs. the Buckeyes if the Wolverines can get past Penn State on the road.
Circa Sports released the opening lines for Week 11 Sunday afternoon, and Michigan starts the week as a -5 favorite on the road. The over/under for that game is also set at 45.5 points, and fans can check out the action via Tradition’s DraftKings Casino Michigan promo code.

While these two sides have faced off in primetime White Out environments in the past, this year’s game will come at 12 p.m. ET as a part of FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff. It will be interesting to see what kind of impact the 12 p.m. kickoff has on the home crowd, but the Nittany Lion faithful will certainly be amped up for this one.
The two sides have 26 all-time meetings with Michigan taking the 16-10 series lead. The Wolverines have also won back-to-back meetings in the series after Penn State previously won 2 meetings from 2019-20.
Penn State last won at home in the 2019 meeting of these two teams while Cade McNamara led Michigan to a dramatic road win in 2021. We’ll see what this year’s game as in store.
