Fans got quite a show, as the game between the Spartans and Wolverines came down to the final play, with Michigan State surviving with a 14-10 win over its rival.
It was a sloppy game but was entertaining considering the pouring rain, high wind and hard-nosed defensive game that both teams played from start to finish.
Michigan State improved to 4-1 on the season and 2-0 in B1G play. The Wolverines are also 4-1 but 1-1 in conference play.
